Lesson: Vatiations on Riffs

It is very satisfying to learn your favorite riffs note-for-note, with the confidence that you are playing them exactly as they appear on the original recording. Take your learning a step farther by creating variations on those riffs and make them into your own!

Below are three simple variations on the demo riffs from Metal Riffology: The Art of the Metal Riff. Compare them to the originals to see what was changed, then make up your own variations.
